A heat pump is an innovative system designed to take the available heat from the ground or air surrounding a property and increase it to a more useful temperature for use in the home, unlike conventional heating systems that generate heat through combustion or electrical resistance.
Make the switch to lower carbon† heating with help from the Boiler Upgrade Scheme – offering grants of up to £7,500 towards an air-source heat pump. To apply for this grant the installer needs to do this on your behalf. If you are unsure you can check your eligibility here.
